We decided to jump on the bandwagon and adopt some chickens this year. We got six, and we now have five. My favorite chicken, who I (very unfortunately) named Lady, turned out to be not much of a lady, but rather a rooster! Luckily, I was able to find her - I mean him! a good home (Lady has been renamed Lord Lady).
Just in the last week, we have started getting eggs. How much fun is this!?
Today we got two eggs - and the first brown one! Can't wait to enjoy these for breakfast tomorrow.
And speaking of chickies, how can I not share this photo of my favorite little chicky of them all...Pookie post double-stuffed Oreo.
