Bicycles Lane - DONE!

Finished up this quick strip quilt last weekend.

I'm donating this quilt to a high school friend who is raising money for their adoption of a little girl in China. They are hosting a dinner and silent auction in a couple of weeks, and I am hoping this quilt helps them get a little closer to bringing their daughter home.

Tried out some Flower Power long-arm quilting:

Loved this fun and funky chevron print for the binding....

My daughter has yet to miss "helping" during a quilt photo shoot.

Most of the fabrics are from Riley Blake Designs Dress Up Days line by Doohikey Designs.

St. Louis 16-Patch Quilt Top Done

Got my St. Louis 16-Patch quilt top done! And she's beautiful!

Just need to find a backing and figure out how to quilt this one. Can't wait to snuggle up under this quilt!

St. Louis 16-Patch

Been loving my St. Louis 16-Patch quilt blocks. They are so fun and quick to put together.

This might be one of my favorite blocks. Love those plums and navys:

Right now it sits at 5 block rows by 6 block rows, for a total of 30 blocks. This will make the quilt 70x84". Not sure if I want to make it any bigger.

They are currently stacked up next to my Bernina ready to sew together. Hopefully I can get her together this weekend!

Any suggestions for backing fabric?
