Swoon Quilt
I finally finished my Swoon quilt. I purchased my fabrics in March 2014 (that's 2 years ago - thank you Instagram), and started making blocks later that year.
Then it sat. And sat. And sat.
I finished up the quilt top about a year ago, then it sat. And sat. And sat some more. The All People Quilt UFO 2015 Challenge helped me get my WIPs in order and accounted for. I can't say that I actually quilted and bound it the month I was supposed to, but at least it's done.
Here I am showing the almost bound quilt off at the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild meeting - best shot I have of the back:
Quilt Details:
Pattern: Swoon (the original one with 24" blocks) by Camille Roskelley
Fabrics: Prints are mostly Anna Maria Horner, Hand Drawn Garden. Colored Solids: Solid Mochi Linens by Moda. The tan background fabric: unknown - just a random bolt at a fabric store but it mimics a hand tea died fabric.
Quilting: Modern Twist by Patricia Ritter. Quilted on my Handi Quilter Fusion Pro-Stitcher.
And just a quick shout out to all the quilt husbands/holders/managers out there. It's a tough job.
