I made my first mug rug...and I think I'm hooked. What a fun project! I can start and finish all in one sitting! How awesome is that!?
This one turned out a little bigger than a typical mug rug, I think it's close to 10x13".
I made this mug rug for a friend at work. We all struggle to find the right work-life balance, and I made this to bring a little of her life into work....she has two lab dogs, loves to garden, and her and her husband have a yurt they vacation at frequently. So I dug through my scraps and found fabrics with dogs and flowers. I have yet to find yurt themed fabric, so I thought this camping themed print would be perfect for the backing.
Can't wait to make another mug rug!
